The trip to the Wasini-Shimoni Dolphin channel was truly epic for me. I can still see the Blue Ocean in my dreams. 


I got to walk on the same channels and sail on pretty much the same dhows that slaves of ancient times did almost 400 years ago. It felt like stepping back in time. 


They say the world is a book and those who don't travel read only one page.
